Entry commentary
I was working for this one on a project in college and everybody got assigned different character to do. I got to do a portrait of Willy Wonka and I wanted to make him seem crazy and childish in the poster, fixing his bow tie as if he's preparing to see the children who won for the first time. Tweaking the original colors of the illustration for the poster seemed appropriate after I saw how bright and colorful the musical itself is in the trailer. Hope I did the character justice.
