T-SHIRT PARTY
T-SHIRT PARTY
With the invention of the Internet things would never be the same again. Promotion, advertising, marketing has all changed. Blame the blogs, the websites, the HTMLs and mainly the social networking websites. Taking advantage of these new means are hungry and ambitious youngsters who fell off the bang-wagon once we discovered how we were all being ripped off by banks and made to feel like mugs.
T-shirt party are some of those young ambitious unknown forward-thinkers. I received a Facebook request from them a few months ago and reluctantly added them as my friends. I hate adding people I don't know although I now command over 1,000 Facebook friends (How popular!). Since that friendship floodgate opened they are now friends with 18 of my friends and rapidly on the increase. This worries me.
What makes them interesting is that no one seems to know who they are. They have a legitimate email that seems to work but no one has taken it upon themselves to try and find out what this is all about. I have looked at their various blogs and also see they throw parties. One this weekend in East London. That one has been penciled into my diary. Another opportunity to add to my online friends.
They launch a new printed design every week and sell them through their blogs and websites. I'll assume they are a collective who do this as a hobby but will soon be known everywhere. But what I will do for you good people is attempt to make contact with them and see if they can justify my friendship. Along with their designs are the videos they release which are almost as good as the t-shirts themselves. They are a mash up of music videos and random foreign television channels. An interesting montage which highlights that there is some sort of vision behind what they are doing. First things first lets make contact then we can all find them on Facebook, or not.
Don't Panic attempt to credit photographers and content owners wherever possible, however due to the sheer size and nature of the internet this is sometimes impractical or impossible.
