By way of Denton, Texas and Brooklyn New York comes a wholesome taste of electro pop in the way of Neon Indian. Not having heard of them until recently I found their downloadable single Sleep Paralasyst an easy enjoyable listen.
Alan Palomo who first came to notoriety as synth wizard VEGA heads the band with Ronald Gierhart, Jason Faries and Leanna Macomber who, completes the ensemble. 2009 would have been a big year for the band with the release of their debut LP Psychic Chasms receiving critical acclaim.
2010 will undoubtedly be the year they are inaugurated to many festival line ups. Continuing on from Grizzly Bear at the Roundhouse last week the single was co-produced by both Palomo and Chris Taylor. DOWNLOAD HERE
