Beau Bo D'Or describes himself as an old, struggling viral maker. He is Scottish, but was born in Iraq. After 20 years 9-5ing in marketing, he threw in the towel and took out his frustrations on politicians by making crude Photoshop images and posting them online.

He won first, second and third places in the still image category of Channel 4’s first viral competition and his image of Kate Moss and Pete Doherty as Myra Hindley and Ian Brady (a comment on tabloid demonisation) made the papers last year (although he got almost no credit for it).

He has also worked for Channel 4 News and Guardian Unlimited and his images have appeared in The Times, The Chicago Tribune, BBC News, Sky News, The Independent, The Spectator and several others.

His images frequently appear (without permission) in many publications, including The FT, the Evening Standard, The Sun, The Daily Mail and The Telegraph. Celibate by choice (of the UK’s female population) he awaits the moment when he will encounter his perfect woman, led by an imperfect guide dog. Get in touch if you’re interested. He’s very talented.
