Long was scheduled to address the sex scandal on a radio station but cancelled after another young man claimed the Pastor made him call him “Daddy”. The men who have accused Long of sex abuse claim that he showered them gifts and forced them into sexual relationships. The Pastor is an outspoken opponent to gay marriage and has written a book about sexual purity called What A Man Wants, What A Women Needs. What a man certainly does not want is too be groomed from a young age by a Pastor and given gifts in return for sexual favours.

 

Dodgy Priests and sex crimes within the Catholic Church is nothing new. Pope Benedict has been accused of protecting at least 19 bishops who have sexually abused children. None of them lost their title, One clergyman who was supposidely protected by the Pope is Bishop O’Connell of Palm Beach. He admitted to sexually abusing two boys, he was allowed to resign gracefully and now lives in a lovely house in South Carolina. It is said that sexual corruption in Catholic Church starts at the very top. Whatever next?
