LEE RYAN BUSKING?!

What you’ve just witnessed is not a joke. Lee Ryan, the people’s champion, the nation’s bard, a modern-day Shakespeare, has been reduced to busking on the streets of our fair capital.

With cuts happening here, there and everywhere and record labels flirting with liquidation, it’s no wonder that passionate musician Ryan has had to find a different way of getting his brilliant music out there.

The Budget announced on June 22 also revealed that there will be severe Housing Benefit cuts, so maybe he was actually just jamming out with a pal in his new pad, also known as the back alleys of Covent Garden. Ryan’s probably playing off his newfound homelessness as a promotional stunt… some people are just too proud to admit they’re in a bad position nowadays.

According to showbiz websites Mr Ryan also plans to open up a restaurant (he was on Hell’s Kitchen so that makes him a brilliant chef). But with VAT prices being hiked up to 20% (restaurants aren’t exempt from VAT) will he really attract that many hungry Blue fans? Or will Osborne’s plan to have a poorer London mean that the former Blue man will be one of the worst celebrity restaurateurs? Or is this just a new way for him to chat-up the ladies?

Lee Ryan isn’t the only one to be feeling these cuts. Seeing as housing benefits have been cut by £1.8 billion a year by 2014/15 maybe buskers will have a bigger audience due to thousands of people at risk of eviction or homelessness. We could also witness the rich fleeing our beloved capital, meaning that Ant and Dec and Piers Morgan could soon be seen in a flatshare near you!

Even Prince has been knocking on people’s doors as a Jehovah’s Witness… but for all we know, he could be doing it for a place to stay. Well he was always a bit odd wasn’t he? Or has this recession driven the planet’s celebrities mad? Oh the humanity!

That was literally one of the worst 'articles' I have ever read. Why did I read it? I don't know. In my heart of hearts I knew it'd probably be shit. On the plus side, at least it was short.
